Wrinkles do
not look good even on clothes not to mention someone’s face. There are
several factors, which can contribute to the appearance of wrinkles of the
skin. Among those are chemicals, sun exposure, wind, environmental factors, cigarette
smoking, and genetic predisposition. Regardless of the cause, the mechanism of
wrinkles formation is the same: skin is loosing its elastic qualities and
ability to stretch. Recently treatment of wrinkles with
lasers has gained approval from the Federal Drug Administration. By
using high-energy lasers, we now can reduce the appearance of shallow to
moderately deep wrinkles by triggering the body's wound healing responses. It
fosters new collagen formation, which can increase skin smoothness and elasticity.
